About the Governmental Insurance at the King Hussein Cancer Center – GCCI

The government insurance program at the King Hussein Cancer Center has been activated for 4.1 million Jordanian citizens starting from January 1, 2026. Insurance Coverage Includes

  • Jordanians under the age of 19 (born in 2007 or later).

  • Jordanians aged 60 and above (born in 1965 or earlier) who are not covered by any private or military insurance.

  • Beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund and their families, regardless of age.

Eligibility Conditions

  • The beneficiary must be Jordanian and hold a national ID number.

  • Must not have been diagnosed with cancer before January 1, 2026.

  • Must not have started treatment outside the King Hussein Cancer Center for patients diagnosed after January 1, 2026.
